Wagner Park update – The bad weather has prevented a tour of the park as it has been too wet. Talks for the tour continue with Mr Dean who has contracted with Shenandoah County to take care of the maintenance of the park. If we decide to have an event there we can advertise it in the county Parks & Recreation brochure.
Remount Station update – Again the weather has been a hindrance to mapping the trails in this location. All the stack holders are still very much interested in working with us to develop trails. A new director will start soon at the Remount Station.
Mark Feaster’s update on the club website asked for pictures and equine information to be sent to his email address at email@example.com

Please wear helmets when riding! Per the National Trauma Databank between 2003 and 2012 45.2 percent of TBI among adults were related to horseback riding, dwarfing the other causes. The second-leading cause of sports-related traumatic brain injury was falls or hits from contact sports like football and soccer, but that accounted for just 20.2 percent of TBIs.
